professionally, known him for about 15 years. He is a very qualified and vastly

Let me begin by expressing my delight on
learning of the establishment of Polaris Aviation. This delight is multiplied
in knowing that the school is commanded by renowned instructors and some of the
most thorough professionals I have had the good fortune of meeting in my
career.
It has been my privilege as an Aviator to be
part of the same team as Capt. AC Chopra and Capt. Anurag Srivastava from our
days in SpiceJet, nearly a decade ago. I recollect fondly and with a great
measure of professional satisfaction the multiple occasions where we operated

Capt. Chopra is a legend in himself. His
passion, knowledge, thoroughness and energy for all-things aviation and for a

phenomenon in itself and his presence commands respect. He has been and
continues to be a mentor to me and many others and we often draw motivation,

“josh” and his personality.
Sir is an encyclopaedia by himself and has an
incredible way of vaporising any kinks or doubts, so that fundamental
understandings are crystal clear. I have often (and continue to) approach him
for clarity and better appreciation of trivial, fundamental and even more
complex concepts, procedures, scenarios, etc. His emphasis on developing attitudes,
discipline, habits, practices and drills, cognitive abilities and to always and
continuously learn and increase knowledge, is something I frequently revisit
and has held me in good stead as a pilot.
Capt. Anurag Srivastava is one of the finest
pilots I have shared the flight deck with. Incredibly sharp and meticulous and
with the skills to show it! Capt. Anurag has an inherent composure and calmness
in his conduct - a remarkable quality in our profession and he exhibits these
qualities like only a very distinguished few can claim to. He exudes confidence
that can only come naturally to someone who is thorough and devoted to his
trade. Forever pleasant amidst his peers, extremely knowledgeable on a wide
array of subjects and always on top of any and every development concerning his
profession. His many successes in various roles as a Captain, CRM facilitator
and Instructor are testament to his understanding of aviation, his knowledge,
his abilities and his diligence. Very approachable and patient are amongst his
other commendable strengths. I have met only a few professional pilots with the

have had the pleasure of being associated with Captain Anurag Srivastava since
our flying school days of 2007 at Sabena in Falcon Field, Mesa, Arizona. We
joined as trainee First Officers with SpiceJet together. He has a keen sense of
